This is not your topnotch Vietnamese restaurant... nope it isn't. But just some reasons why I gave it 4 stars for the local diners!
1) reasonably priced food! You can get 5 orders for $45-50 range... restaurants nowadays cost more than $10 an order which has somehow become the norm. So their menu price is great!
2) yummy food! They aren't "mind blowing" amazing flavors! But.. they have consistently good food for good price -- fixed my craving type of hype.
3) They have quick service -- not great service -- not friendly service -- QUICK. So take that however you wanna take it... it ain't bad but it ain't great but -- you get what you want for a good price with good food...
SO! The rest is up to you! You come here! You won't be awfully disappointed... it won't blow your socks off either! You hungry? You want Vietnamese food? You in the area? You don't wanna spend hella bucks? Then don't knock it til you try it! -

I love their pho. It's very flavorful, not like the one down the street.
This place gives you a lot of meat and noodles too.
Great spot if you are ever in this area. -

First time coming here. It's kinda hidden because I always go to the Philz right near here but never come up to where this place is. It's blocked by Safeway and another abandoned building.
Service is kinda slow. We went in and sat down while none of their staff saw us. It was at 3pm on a Friday, but still. Then we had to get their attention when we were ready to order.
I don't trust the cleanliness of any restaurant's utensils so I always try to rinse them with hot tea. This place is no exception.
The pho was the key here and it's decent. Wish it was a bit more in quantity because I ordered a large and it looked like a medium.
The price is fair for this area.
I will be back to give this place a second shot. -

I would give this place a 5 because I base my ratings on what I expect and the food. The food here was very good and authentic.
However, this place was extremely dirty and our waiter wasn't able to answer any questions, all he knew in English was the #s to order off the menu. Would come back for the food. -

What is perfect than a hot bowl of pho? A cold, foggy South San Francisco day! Prices are good and the service is fast and efficient.
My go-to is definitely the one with all the fixings.
1. Dac Biet Bo Vien
Special combo with beef balls rare slice of steak, well-done brisket and flank, tendon and tripe.
If I'm not in the mood for a pho, their rice plates are also amazing.
1. Combo Plate
Grilled pork chop, fried chicken wing and egg roll with rice.
Must try appetizers:
1. Canh Ga Chien Don
Fried crispy chicken wings
2. Goi Cuon
Fresh spring rolls with shrimp and pork
- the peanut sauce is BOMB!
